“The Lord replied, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’”
—Exodus 33:14 (NIV)
There is a sacred space that is defined by divine presence, a secret space where we step away from life's demands and perform profound soul work. This rest isn't simply sleeping; it's a profound peace that arises from surrender. The start comes when we choose to be completely present with the One who sees beyond our polished answers and tired smiles. When we surrender, He warmly receives us and restores us.
Within this Secret Place, exhaustion yields to meaningful encounters. We release burdens we cannot fix, embracing the peace of His completed work. Here, true rest transforms into strength, and stillness becomes power. God gently reminds us: “I will never forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8). You may feel weak, but you are strong (2 Corinthians 12:9–10).”
Let today be your warm invitation:
Rest is not a sign of weakness; it is a necessity. In this sacred, secret place, we find renewal and peace.
Matthew 11:28–30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest... For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
— Jesus offers rest not just from toil, but from the soul’s striving.
Hebrews 4:9–11
“There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God... Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest.”
— A reminder that rest is both a gift and a discipline of trust.
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.”
Psalm 23:2–3
— An image of God’s gentle guidance and restoration.
